AAC & Aphasia
In this course you will learn that AAC should be introduced at the onset of therapy because AAC for the person with aphasia can support residual natural speech, provide practice in order to improve speech, and help the person with aphasia communicate more effectively across environments. You will also learn specific AAC supports and how they can benefit people with aphasia.
